James William Mosley Sr.

He was born in Mecklenburg County to the late Eugene A. Mosley and Eunice Carter Mosley on April 5, 1941. Jim graduated from East Mecklenburg High School in 1959. He enjoyed fixing things and was an electrician, mechanic and general all around handyman. While living in Texas, Jim worked for Ocean Spray.

In addition to his parents Jim was preceded in death by brothers, David and Gene Mosley and by his daughter, Cindy Partin.

Left to cherish his memory are his sons, James W. Mosley, Jr., Joel Mosley and his wife Karen, Jesse Mosley; brother, Robert Mosley; sisters, Vivian Houck, Clara Brown and her husband Robert; nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A celebration of life will be held 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m., Thursday, June 29 in the chapel at Wilson Funeral and Cremation Service, 5301 Albemarle Rd., Charlotte.

Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
