Jim Aycoth, 78, of Cornelius, NC passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 24, 2013, at his home. He was born on February 13, 1934, in Monroe, NC. He was preceeded in death by his parents Robert and Verdia Aycoth.
Jim is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Patricia Williams Aycoth; daughter Lynn Harris and her husband Eric of Lawrenceville, GA; son John Aycoth and his wife Lisa of Indian Trail, NC; sister Vivian Drennan of Monroe, NC. He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren, Zoe Harris, Bayne Harris, Cameron Aycoth, and Donald James Aycoth.
Jim graduated from West Mecklenburg High School and attended Brevard College. He served four years in the US Air Force. His career was spent in the Textile Industry in sales and service for Zellweger Uster Corp. and Gilbos of America.
Jim enjoyed golf, spending time on the lake, had a great sense of humor, and loved and adored his grandchildren.

His burial will be private.
