Jack Amick Reeder Jr.

Jack attended Myers Park High School and some college at Lees-McRae College in Banner Elk, NC. He worked in parts and service with several car dealerships in the Charlotte and Rock Hill area over the years until forced to retire due to his health. He and his wife Wanda were married for 38 years and raised two wonderful sons together.

Jack enjoyed time spent with his sons going to Nascar races, camping, going out on the boat on Lake Wylie and the adventures they went on with the Boy Scouts. He was a Boy Scout leader with his sons and continued helping in several capacities after they aged out of the program.

Jack is survived by his spouse, Wanda Overcash Reeder; son John (Emily) Reeder of Cornelius, NC, son David (Rebecca) Reeder of Fort Mill, SC; grandchildren Bennett, Hayden, Arabella and Elliana; sister Linda Reeder (Larry) of Pineville, NC.

A visitation for Jack will be held Monday, September 19, 2022 beginning at 10am at McEwen Funeral Service at Sharon Memorial Park, 5716 Monroe Road, Charlotte, NC 28212. A Celebration of Life will follow at 11am. Inurnment will take place at Sharon Memorial Park.
