Reverend Jack Eubanks, age 85 of Charlotte passed away December 16th, 2015. Funeral services will be at 2:00PM Saturday, December 19th in the Paul Helton Chapel of Forest Lawn West Funeral Home, Reverends Bernie Lawrence and Bruce Creswell officiating. Interment will be in Forest Lawn West Cemetery with Military Rites. Visitation will be from 1-2PM prior to the service.
Mr. Eubanks was born in Cleveland County February 7, 1930 son of the late Otto Lewis and Mary Belle Davis Eubanks. He earned a full sports scholarship at Washington and Lee in Lexington Va. and graduated with a B.A. in business. He entered the Marine Corps in 1952 and discharged as a First Lieutenant, after which he earned a Masters degree in Divinity from the Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson Ms.
Surviving family members, wife, Lucille Shaw Eubanks, children Jackie Capps (Edward) of Clover, SC , Timothy Eubanks (Kristine) Monroe, NC , Christopher Eubanks (Brittany) Charlotte, NC and grandchildren and great grandchildren, and a brother Howard Eubanks of Danville Va.
