It is with sadness and joy that we announce the passing of our beloved Jack, Dad, and Pop. He went to be with His Lord and Savior on November 25, 2014 in his own bedroom in the presence of his loving God and surrounded by his family and caregiver. Dad was born in Charlotte to George and Katherine Crouch on July 7, 1934.
Dad is survived by his wife, Faye Crouch; faithful brother and sister-in-law, George and Mary Ann Crouch; three kids, Jack Jr., Toni, and Larry; son in-law, Butch; daughters-in-law, Joy and Corie; and nine grandchildren, Joe, Brian, Julia and her husband John, Delaney, Luke, Alex and his wife Allie, Morgan, Abbey, and Hannah.
Dad was a true patriarch of our family. He was married to our mom for the last 58 years, and his devotion to her as she battles cancer was a true witness to their deep love and commitment to each other. God used Dad’s incredible entrepreneurial energy and spirit as the foundation for his life’s work and the glue that keeps our family together today. Dad started more businesses than we can list and was honored with the prestigious George Westinghouse Product Introduction Award in 1987. Dad founded Carolina Moldings, Inc., our family business, in 1975 and continued to build it for the sake of his wife and children.
Dad’s presence and fun loving nature impacted everyone he met, and was felt every place he went. Our loss is great, our vast number of cherished memories greater, but our God is greater still.
A service to celebrate Dad’s life will be held on Friday, December 5th, at 2:00 p.m. at Carmel Presbyterian Church, 2048 Carmel Rd, Charlotte, NC 28226. Family will receive visitors at the church immediately following the service.
Very special thanks to Aida, Kirsten, Angela, and Hospice for their loving care of Dad.
