Hugh "Bob" Sidney Eudy

Born May 22, 1924 in Millingport, he was the son of the late Charles R. Eudy and Jenny Tucker Eudy. Bob was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Maryphene “Mary” Morgan Eudy; and a daughter, Gwynne Locke.

Bob is survived by two children, Gary S. Eudy and wife, Shawn and Gina E. Carey and husband, Billy; six grandchildren, Brandon Locke and wife, Neil, Houston Locke and wife, Catie, Morgan Eudy, Wyatt Eudy, Dillon Carey and Madeline Carey; and three great grandchildren, Jonathan, Ansley and Evelyn Locke.

Bob served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was formerly employed with Wiscassett Mills, a barber at Amity Gardens Barbershop for 15 years, employed with NCDOT for 18 years and worked with his wife, Mary in real estate for over 60 years. Bob was a member of Sharon Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Bob loved to work and lived by the motto, “Count Your Blessings!”

A memorial service will be held 3:00 PM Wednesday, July 5th at Wilson Funeral & Cremation Service with Melvin Brannon officiating.
