Hoyle Clarence "Butch" Helms, Jr., passed away Sunday morning, August 21, 2022, at his home in Indian Trail, North Carolina. He was 72 years old.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 2:00 pm until 2:45 pm Thursday, August 25, 2022, at Hickory Grove Baptist Church Mallard Creek Campus, 13200 Mallard Creek Road, Charlotte, North Carolina 28262, followed by a memorial service at 3:00 pm. Dr. Kyler Smith will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Novant Health Hospice, Post Office Box 33549, Charlotte, North Carolina 28233-3549.
