Helen Hund Visser

Helen is preceded in death by her first husband, Bernard Thomas Hund; infant son, John Michael Hund; brother, Jesse Carl Stone; and sister, Virginia Stone Hindle.

Helen was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother. She excelled at bridge, dominoes and bowling. She was a long time member of St. Matthew Catholic Church.

Survivors include her husband, Teunis (Tony) Visser; her children: Kelley Shelley and Ben Hund of Charlotte, Carrie Hund Phillips (Jack Woodard) of Birmingham, Alabama and Sarah Hund Haas (Tom) of San Antonio, Texas. Helen is also survived by her sister, Susie Coley; grandchildren: Travis and his fiancée Stephanie Harris, Brittany Shelley and her fiancé Kevin Hennessy, Kate Phillips and her fiancé Brandon Bowers, Hunter (Tessa) Phillips, Mary Johnson Phillips Mehdizadeh (Omid), and Benji Hund; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 26, at 1:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn East Cemetery.
