Charlotte - Helen K. Beaty, 89, passed away November 10, 2014. She was born in Charlotte on April 11, 1925 to the late George Moyer Ketchie, Sr. and Helen Pierce Ketchie.
Helen was predeceased by her husband, Marvin and daughter, Carole. She is survived by two sons, George (Dianne), and David (Ann); grandchildren, Alison Johnston (Clay) and Aaron Kiggins (Jessica); and great-grandchildren, Cassidy Johnston, Thomas Kiggins, Reece Johnston and Addison Johnston.
Visitation will be held from 12:30-1:45 p.m. on Friday, November 14 at Harry and Bryant, 500 Providence Rd., Charlotte, with services following at 2 p.m. in Harry and Bryant's Chapel. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to the charity of one's choice.
