Harriet Jean Jean Price

Harriet "Jean" Price of Charlotte, a loved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend passed to Heaven on December 31, 2015. Her love, advice, and sense of humor will be missed by many. She had a way of telling it like it is, and cracking people up even up to her last days.

Jean had a blessed life with her husband Arthur Grier "Buck" Price of 60 years. She has missed him each day since his passing and it will be wonderful for her to be reunited with him and other family in Heaven.

She leaves behind her seeds of love and cherished special, funny memories to her sons, Bob Price and Steve Price; daughter, Gaye Price Koster as well as her son-in-law Keith Koster (affectionately referred to as her third son) and daughter-in-law Jaky Hernandez-Price.

Mama Jean or Meme also leaves her many beloved grandchildren who each hold a special place in her heart; Matt Price and his wife Kristy, Brad Price, Will Price, J.T. Price, Jenny Price Kotraba and her husband Justin, Garrett Koster, Krista Koster, Jenna Koster and McAllister Price (who preceded her in death) and Valerie Price & her first great grandchild due June 2016.

The family will receive friends from 10am until 11 am on Monday January 4 at Central Steele Creek Presbyterian Church, 9401 S. Tryon St. followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 am. Burial will be at Pleasant Hill Presbyterian Church, 15000 York Rd.

Jean's children sincerely appreciate the kindness, love, cards, and visits to our mother by friends, family, and her church family.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Central Steele Creek Presbyterian Church Building Fund.
