Gregory Lee Middleton

Gregory was employed at R B Publishing as the graphic designer for Inside Wisconsin Sports. His career began early at the age of 14. A talented and gifted designer, he won numerous web page design awards. He was a magna cum laude graduate of UNC-Charlotte where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts. In 2008 he received The Graphic Designer of the Year award at UNC-Charlotte. He also competed with the Mid- Atlantic Snow Board Association in Boone, NC.

He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Lee Middleton and Pauline Flynn Middleton; maternal grandparents, E. L. Thomas and Nelda C. Thomas, and brother, Christopher E. Middleton.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by aunts, Vickie Price, (Ed), Elaine Mills, (Barry), Lynn Keever, Laura Lawson (Mike) and uncle, Joe Thomas (Elizabeth) ; two nieces, two nephews and numerous cousins.

A Service to celebrate Gregory’s life will be held at 11:00am Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at Paw Creek Presbyterian Church, Reverend Gary Bryant officiating. Interment will follow the service at Forest Lawn East Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5 to 8pm at the home of his mother, Anne Godfrey on Enwood Drive, Charlotte.
