Gail Wallace Griffin

The only child of M. Ray Wallace and Univee Epperson Wallace, Gail was born on October 6, 1948. She married the late Randy James Griffin and continued to spend her life in Charlotte as a wonderful homemaker and devoted mother to her sons Chad and Wesley.

Throughout her life, Gail had the unique distinction of traveling to all fifty states, Canada and Mexico with her mother Univee on the Christian Tours they loved so much. Meeting new people and visiting new destinations was a shared and memorial experience for these two ladies.

Gail especially loved all animals but had a special affection for dogs and horses. Her best days were spent spending time with her family and friends but most importantly her grandchildren.

As a Christian, Gail’s life was a testimony of her love for Jesus as her personal savior as she lived a life of faith. Many organizations received contributions from Gail as she provided for so many during her lifetime.

Left to mourn her loss is her son Chad and wife Misty; grandson Neil Griffin, granddaughters Alaina Griffin, Madison Griffin and Kennedy Griffin and daughter-in-law Christian Griffin.

Gail was preceded in death by her parents, husband Randy and son Wesley.

The family will greet friends at McEwen Funeral Service located at 5716 Monroe Road in Charlotte on Friday, November 4, 2022 starting at 10am with a graveside service to follow at 11am at Sharon Memorial Park.
