Frances Elizabeth Wilson

The daughter of the late Sadie Rushing and David Clyde Mullis, Frances was born on April 6, 1935 in Mecklenburg County and attended Central High School. She worked at Drum Manufacturing in Mint Hill and W. A. Buening Printing Co. in Charlotte.

Frances is preceded in death by her loving husband John “Hunter” Wilson and a son Karl “Buster” (Leigh). She is survived by her loving and caring children, John “Johnny” (Mary), Linda Reimann (Craig), Jackie (Denise) and Terry (Hunt). She had many grandchildren, great grandchildren and many who called her “mom” or “maw maw”.

Frances had many things that she enjoyed. One of her favorites was working in her flower beds. Frances enjoyed traveling to the beach and mountains with her husband, family and friends. She loved her church and church family at Wilson Grove Baptist where she faithfully served the Lord.

The family will receive friends Saturday, September 29, 2018 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm with a celebration of life following at 2:00 pm at Wilson Grove Baptist with Pastor Rob Mariucci officiating.

Interment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens with Reverend Bruce Pope.
