Frances was a godly woman who loved the Lord and her family, setting a strong example for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her life was a living example of encouragement and determination.
Frances was born in Stanly County, NC to the late Lee and Sunie Little on April 27, 1942. She was married to Philip Thompson for 63 years. There’s was a true love story of love, respect, and mutual care. Frances was also a long-time orthodontic assistant for Drs. Culbreth and Poole, where she made many lifelong friends.
Frances is survived by her loving husband, Philip Thompson; sons, Eddie Thompson (Janet), Steve Thompson (Angie); sisters, Margie Drye (Robert), Sue Hathcock (Boyd), Aileen Edwards; brother, Robert Little (Saundra); grandchildren, Laura Vevurka, Michael Thompson, Jon Thompson, Josh Thompson, Madison Park (Josh), Olivia Thompson, Moriah Thompson; plus 4 great-grandchildren.
Please join us in celebrating her life on Monday, July 26, 2021 at Calvary Baptist Church, 2727 Mt. Holly-Huntersville Rd., Charlotte, NC 28214. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am and the service will follow at 12:00 pm. Officiants are Pastors Jack Homesley and Tony Harper. The graveside service will follow at Forest Lawn West Cemetery, 4601 Freedom Dr., Charlotte, NC 28208. Memorials may be sent to Calvary Baptist Church, 2727 Mt.
