Faith Angilece Nixon

Faith Angilece Nixon was born on March 1, 2000 in Columbus, OH. She departed this life on September 7, 2023. Faith was educated at York Preparatory Academy in Rock Hill, SC where she participated in bowling competitions and she graduated from Aveda Arts and Sciences Institute of Charlotte. She owned her own business called "Solitaire" making Rugs and being creative.

An avid bowler, Faith enjoyed doing lashes and loved to care for her plants. She enjoyed city life and exploring uptown; playing board games with her family and friends as she was very competitive. She also enjoyed spending time fishing and going to Carowinds with her dad. She was very protective about her siblings and loved going on vacations with her family. She also loved the water so being at the beach, and playing in the pool was one of her favorite pastimes.

Faith was preceded in death by her maternal great-grandparents, Harry and Grace Richardson and her mMaternal grandfather, Harold A Davis, Jr.

Those left to cherish her precious memories are her parents, Sidney Bernard Hancock (Samarra Graham) and April Nixon (Robert Allen); sisters, Nya Marsh, and Hannah Hancock; brothers, Jeremiah Hancock, Jeremy Hancock, Nicholas Hancock and Javon Moser; maternal grandmother, Bonnie Nixon; paternal grandparents, Claudara Hancock and Sammy Caldwell (Valerie); niece, Ariyanna Barber; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives and friends.

The family of Faith Nixon would like to thank you very much for the cards, calls, flowers, food, acts of kindness, and sympathy shown following her sad passing. Your support at this time is very much appreciated and of great comfort to all the family. We thank you and we love you. May God bless each of you.

A visitation for Faith will be held Saturday, September 16, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Forest Lawn West Funeral & Cremation Service, 4601 Freedom Drive, Charlotte, NC 28208, followed by a celebration of life from 1:00 PM.
