Evelyn Hope Byrum

Evelyn Hope Byrum, age 93, of Charlotte, North Carolina passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2022. Evelyn was born July 2, 1928 in Charlotte, North Carolina. She was the sweetest person you would ever meet, a loving mother, grandmother and friend. She was a devoted Christian and lived her faith daily. She was a talented seamstress, decorator, gardener, painter, cook and baker.

Evelyn is survived by her daughter Deborah H. Tyson (Larry); and her son William H. Hope; sister Lois Moore Yandle; grandson Jeffrey S. Tyson (Amanda), grandson Brett M. Tyson, granddaughter Heather H. Wilson, great grandchildren Ariel Tyson, Garrett Tyson, Evelyn Tyson, Dahlia Tyson, Madison Bardin (Hayden), Morgan Hope, Gracie Wilson, great-great grandchildren Ezra Bardin, Rowyn Bardin and loving nieces and nephews.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her first husband James Alva Hope, second husband Walter Byrum and her brother Howard Moore.

Serving as pallbearers are Jeff Tyson, Brett Tyson, and Ted Smith.
