Eric Scott Dirkschneider was born on October 6, 1992 to Scott and Marge Dirkschneider in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He lived in several different places, but made Charlotte his home for many years. In Charlotte, he met the love of his life, Candace Chmielewski, and they had planned to marry this November.
Eric was a fun-loving guy and never met a stranger. He was caring and loving, and had SO many friends that have supported us now and for years. Eric loved all animals, but especially his dogs, Marley (who's waiting for him at the Rainbow Bridge), MJ and MJ’s mom “Riff Raff.” He loved to hang out with his many friends, loved to play disc golf, and he loved to cook. Eric loved to work with his hands and was in the process of remodeling the home he and Candace bought together.
Eric is survived by his fiancée, Candace; parents, Scott and Marge Dirkschneider; sister, Andrea and her husband Kory Bliss; and by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and many many friends.
