Elsie Mae Webster

Mrs. Webster, age 86, of Charlotte, died Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at Carolinas Medical Center - Main. Born May 8, 1926 in Rutherford, Co., she was a daughter of the late Garver Hodge and Flossie Cannon Hodge. Mrs. Webster was a retired real estate agent. She was a member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church.

The service to celebrate the Life of Elsie Mae Webster will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, March 9th at McEwen Funeral Service -Sharon Memorial Park with Reverend Dale Shields, officiating. Interment will follow in Sharon Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM Friday at McEwen Funeral Service - Derita Chapel.

Known as “The Gate Keeper” she will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Survivors include son, Dan Webster; daughter, Robin Webster; daughter-in-law, Debra Connor; two grandchildren; Kimberley Davenport and Jason Connor; four great grandchildren; and two sisters, Angie Davis and Peggy Ridout. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Webster was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel W. Webster, Sr.; son, Ray Connor and daughter-in-law, Frankie Webster.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
