It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of the passing of our beloved mother, Elizabeth "Betsy" Richardson. Her legacy of kindness, compassion, and unwavering support will forever resonate within each of us.
Betsy's life was filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. As a devoted mother to her four boys—Greg, Todd, Stephen, and David—she poured her heart and soul into nurturing and guiding us with boundless affection and wisdom.
Beyond her role as a mother, Betsy was a devoted grandmother to Caroline, Chloe, Tyler, and Brady. She reveled in their laughter, celebrated their achievements, and cherished every moment spent in their company.
Betsy's passions were as diverse as they were vibrant. From her fervent love for baseball, particularly her NY Mets, to her enthusiasm for traveling to see figure skating competitions. Her joy for sports and adventure was infectious, and her spirit will continue to remain with us in the cherished memories we hold dear. In addition to her family, Betsy dedicated much of her time to charitable endeavors, notably with the American Heart Association and La Leche League, where she tirelessly worked to support and uplift those in need.
Though we mourn the loss of Betsy's physical presence, her spirit lives on in the love she shared, the memories she gifted us, and the values she instilled within us. Let us honor her legacy by embracing each day with the same love, kindness, passion and a wonderful sense of humor that she so beautifully exemplified. May her memory be a source of comfort and strength as we navigate the journey ahead, guided by the love that will forever bind us as family.
