Elizabeth Moore Ferguson "Lib" CHARLOTTE - Mrs. Elizabeth M. "Lib" Ferguson, age 94, of Charlotte passed away Wednesday May 23, 2012 at her residence. She was born in Salisbury, NC, daughter of the late Martin Price Moore, Sr. and Dora Ragan Moore. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Robert B. Ferguson, Sr.; a daughter, Millie Ferguson Brown; and a brother, Martin P. Moore, Jr. Lib was a member of St. Andrew's United Methodist Church and the Harvester's. A service to celebrate her life will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday May, 27, 2012 at McEwen Funeral Service Charlotte Chapel 5716 Monroe Rd., Charlotte, NC 28212 conducted by Pastor Dan Hester. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Sharon Memorial Park. Surviving are her sons, Robert B. Ferguson, Jr. of Bradenton, FL, John M. Ferguson of Davidson, NC; a sister, Nancy Lee Brandt of Charlotte; 6 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
