Elberta Burrier Stutts, 95, formerly of Charlotte, died Thursday, November 3, 2011 at her residence in Carrboro, NC. Born on July 14, 1916, in Fredericksburg, TX, she was a daughter of the late John Burrier and Lena Alberthal Burrier. Mrs. Stutts was a member of Cole Memorial United Methodist Church in Charlotte.
Mrs. Stutts is survived by a son, Jack Stutts and her daughter-in-law, Jane, of Chapel Hill; two granddaughters, Amy Burrier Sanchez and husband Roberto, of Austin, TX, Kathryn and fiancee Laurence Frost, of Paris, France, and a soon to be great-granddaughter, Calla Sanchez.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Monroe J. Stutts, Jr.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00PM, Sunday, November 6th, at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, 1520 W. Sugar Creek Rd.
