Born to Frank and Emma Wilson of Greenville, SC on June 4, 1927, she was preceded in death by her parents, her husband William Leroy Sr., and her brother George Edward Wilson.
Edna is a graduate of Grady Memorial Nursing School in Atlanta, GA. She was a lifelong nurse who dedicated her life to helping others. She played softball into her late 50’s and was an avid Atlanta Braves fan. Every day she served the Lord as a Southern Baptist follower.
She is survived by her 3 children Bill (Amy) Howell, Tina (Blake) Tabor, and Tim Howell; her 6 grandchildren, Britt Tabor, Blake (Rebecca) Howell, Adam Howell, Eric Howell, Danielle Howell, and Kellie (Patrick) Singleton; and by her 3 great-grandchildren Kami Howell, Emma Howell, and Liam Howell.
The funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, December 31, 2016 at McEwen Pineville Chapel, 10500 Park Rd, Charlotte, NC 28210.
