Eddie Owen Stegall

Eddie Owen Stegall, 87, of Lady Lake, FL, formerly of Charlotte, NC, passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2024. Born December 29, 1936 in Charlotte, he was the son of the late Lee and Mildred (Owen) Stegall.

He served in the U.S. Air Force and was honorably discharged in 1958. After his service to our country he devoted his professional life to the optical business, helping thousands of people over the course of his career. He loved spending time with his family and was especially delighted to be a grandfather, spending many hours reading and playing games and going to school events with his granddaughter.

Eddie is survived by his daughter, Ashley Bush of Cleveland, GA; granddaughter, Alexandra Bush of Atlanta, GA and his brother, Phillip Stegall of Summerfield, FL. We will miss him dearly.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Shoshana Nisbet of High Springs, FL and Mary Lee Stegall of Ocala, FL.

A funeral service for Eddie will be held Saturday, April 6, 2024, 11:00 AM, in the chapel of Forest Lawn West Funeral & Cremation Service, 4601 Freedom Drive, Charlotte, NC 28208. Burial in Forest Lawn West Cemetery.
