Eddie Cook

Eddie spent 45 years as a truck driver and recently retired to tinker full time.

He enjoyed helping people, literally anyone who needed it, working on his special projects, inventions, hunting, fishing, motorcycles and woodworking.

Survivors include his loving spouse of 31 years, Linda J. Cook; mother, Bernice Cook; children, Misty Cook Robertson, Dustin (Galia) Cook, Joshua Smith, Jess Smith, Noah Smith and Cayden Smith; grandchildren, McKayla, Matthew, Anna, Eddie, Alex, Yasmin, Cecilia, Kendal and Jeremiah; great-grandchild, Adalynn; sisters, Patti (Ronnie) Lineberger and Mary (Richard) Angel; brothers, Johnny and Gene (Susie) Cook; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Cook and brother, Allen Cook.

Funeral Service 2 p.m. Tuesday March 1, 2022 at Forest Lawn West Funeral Home, 4601 Freedom Drive, Charlotte. Visitation 12 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial in Forest Lawn West Cemetery. Condolences may be submitted at www.forestlawnwest.com.
