She was a graduate of Lenoir-Rhyne University, where she obtained a Bachelor’s degree. A charter member of Mighty Fortress Lutheran Church, she retired from Coffey & Thompson Fine Art Gallery after 25 years of employment.
Dorothy dedicated her entire life to taking care of her son Brad. She enjoyed gardening, playing Bridge and loving her family.
Survivors include her children, Marsha Stogner, Teresa (Gabriel) Cestaro and Earl “Brad” Bradshaw, Jr.; grandchildren, Angela McClure, Nikki Blackburn, Lara Peterson, Lynsey Peterson and Andrew Peterson; 5 great-grandchildren, Colin McClure, Cameron McClure, Christian McClure, Channing Dennis and Avery Dennis.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Macon, Paul, Norman, Fred and Ray Deal.
Funeral Service 2 p.m. Sunday, December 6, 2020 at Forest Lawn West Funeral & Cremation Service, 4601 Freedom Drive, Charlotte. Visitation 1 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Burial in Forest Lawn West Cemetery.
