She was born on Aug. 20, 1928, in Chicago, Ill., to Aloysius and Gertrude O’Brien DeWitt.
Married John P. Connelly in East Lansing, Michigan, in March 1954. Mr. Connelly passed away on June 6, 2000.
Survivors include her three children, Terrence Connelly (Michele), Chesterfield, VA; Patricia Connelly O’Boyle (Michael), Nashville, TN; and Brian Connelly (Mary Lou), Indian Trail, NC; her sister, Joan Seyferlich, GlenEllyn, Ill.; seven grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
The family will greet friends on Friday, Jan. 15, 2016, from 6-8pm at the McEwen-Pineville Chapel, 10500 Park Road, Charlotte. A funeral mass will be held at 1:30pm on Saturday, Jan. 16th, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Parish, 6828 Old Reid Road, Charlotte. Reverend Mark S. Lawlor will be the celebrant. Private interment in Sharon Memorial Park Cemetery.
