Doris Moser Stogner

Doris Stogner, 86, of Charlotte, passed away on September 12, 2012, at her eldest daughter's home in Wellford, South Carolina. Doris was born in Charlotte on March 24, 1926 and was the daughter of the late Jessie and Amy Moser. She lived in Charlotte and the surrounding area for most of her life, but she also lived with her eldest daughter Judy's family in Spartanburg, South Carolina for several decades as well. Doris is survived by her children, Bill Stogner Jr, Judy Norkett, Chris Stogner, and Amy Mayfield. She is also survived by her grandchildren Robbie, Lori, Kathy, Michael, Christy, Scott, and April. She also has ten great grandchildren. Doris had many roles in her life; she was a devoted homemaker, waitress, baker, and daycare worker. Above all, she loved taking care of all of the little ones at her daycare and in her family. Doris was a longtime member of Shamrock Baptist Church in Charlotte. She had a living faith and it was her desire to let everyone know that she believed in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. Her service is for family members and will be graveside at 11:30am at Sharon Memorial Park on Saturday, 15 September, 2012.
