Born August 21, 1935 in Bennettsville, SC, she was the daughter of Arthur and Anna (Steen) Roscoe and the wife of the late Merritt (Mack) McGee.
She was a member of Emmanuel Church of God in Wallace, SC.
Doris enjoyed sewing, crafting, designing floral arrangements, gardening, cooking and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her children, Edgar Clark, Frances "Ann" (Roger) Bodrick, Grace (Brian) Rich, Albert "Ray" (Theresa) Clark and Ricky (Maria) Clark; grandchildren, Kim, Crystal, Cheryl, Will, Roger III, Clayton, D'Anna, Jayne, Adam, Joanna and Madison; numerous great and great, great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sister, Drucilla Madar; grandchildren, Charles Coleman and Ray Tarlton.
Visitation 12:00 PM until the time of service at 1:00 PM Friday, August 25, 2023 at Forest Lawn West Funeral & Cremation Service, 4601 Freedom Drive, Charlotte, NC. Burial in Forest Lawn West Cemetery.
