Donna Jean Green

Donna Jean Green passed away on Monday, May 8, 2017 in Charlotte, NC. She was born March 5, 1935 in Whitley County, Indiana. Donna was a graduate of South Whitley High School. After moving to Florida in 1970, she was employed with Seminole County Schools until she retired and moved to Indian Trail, NC. In retirement, she worked several years as a greeter at Walmart, smiling and joking with everyone she met.

Donna is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Clarence and Carol Kreider; daughter and daughter-in-law, Cherie and Danielle Green; daughter, Michelle Gursky; son, Stephen Green; and grand and great-grandkids, Shannon Green, Esther Gursky, Elizabeth Hernandez, Eric Gursky and Calista. She is predeceased by her parents, Leroy and Esther Kreider; her beloved husband and love of her life, Frederick Green; daughter-in-law, Zeta Green; and great-grandson, Leon.

Visitation will be held Friday, May 12th, from 2:00–4:00 pm at Harry and Bryant, 500 Providence Rd., Charlotte. NC.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Charlotte Humane Society in her memory. Jack, Junior and Sam will be lost without her, as she loved them dearly and they rarely left her side.

Interment will be at Glen Haven Memorial, Winter Park, FL.
