Devin Dev De'John Johnson

His dream was to become a personal trainer and open his own gym with a glass roof so the sun could shine in.

Devin was a mentor to many, especially young athletes. He could often be found going back to Providence High to work with the football players.

Devin never met a stranger and he also hung onto everyone that came into his life. His personality was such that once you were in Devin’s life you never wanted to leave.

Devin is survived by his mother Patricia; April; brothers, Isaiah, Noah, Logan, Brandon, Zackary, sisters Mackenzie and Miranda (Josh) and his nephew Brantley; grandmother, RoseAnn Corbett; girlfriend, Ally; Uncle Joe & Re-Re, Uncle Danny & Uncle Matt, Uncle Robert & Aunt Colleen, Uncle Steve & Aunt Regina, Uncle Jimmie & Aunt Maria (predeceased), Uncle Alex and Cousins, Taylor, Amber, Alex, Bella, Danny, Danielle, Joseph, Christina (Buzzy), Kayla, Brianna, Taylor and Blake.

Devin was also blessed with many bonus Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

In addition he will be missed by many friends.

The family would like you to wear Purple and Yellow or ECU Gear in honor of Devin.

Visitation will be held Saturday, May 30th from 10:00-11:00 with a service immediately following at the Providence High School Football Field. 1800 Pineville-Matthews Rd, Charlotte, NC 28270
