Dana Michelle Smith

Dana Michelle Smith, age 43, passed away at Presbyterian Harris Hospice on Tuesday, September 30,2014. Mrs. Smith was born in Charlotte, NC to Michael L. and Cheryl Hartsell Mills on December 24, 1970. She graduated from Harding High School and was an Account Executive with Michelson Benefits. Dana was a member of Bethlehem Church where she loved being involved in their Children's Ministries known as "Star TGown and The Cove". Dana was a hard worker who loved her job and her family. She enjoyed trips to Dairy Queen, the beach and Las Vegas where her favorite game was roulette. Her favorite saying to her daughter was "I love you this much". There will be a visitation at Bethlehem Church, 3100 Bethlehem Church Rd, Gastonia, NC on Thursday, October 2nd from 6:00 until 9:00pm. A service to celebrate Dana's life will be held on Friday, October 3rd at 1:00pm at Bethlehem Church with Pastor Dicky Spargo officiating. Burial will follow at 3:00pm at Forest Lawn West Cemetery, 4601 Freedom Dr, Charlotte, NC. Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband of 15 years, Mike Smith;her Mother, Cheryl Mills;Daughter, Amber Smith;Son, Michael Smith and wife Brooke;Grandchildren, Peytonand Lawson Smith;Sisters,Cindy Couch, Amy Hanna and husband, Brian, and Brenda Reinhardt and husband, Richard;Nieces,Cheyann Rodgers and Cambria Couch;Nephew, Cody Rodgers. She was preceded in death by her father, Mike Mills.
