D. Gail Chapman Redmond

D. Gail Chapman Redmond, age 58 of Sherrills Ford, NC died September 27, 2010 at her residence. A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be at 2:00PM Sunday, October 3, 2010 at Denver United Methodist Church, 3910 Highway 16 North, Denver, N. C. Reverend Jeff Johnsen officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the Family Life Center.

Mrs. Redmond was born June 13, 1952 in Greenville, SC daughter of Lou Ellen Chapman and the late Cecil Chapman. She was a member of Denver United Methodist Church, a graduate of Carolina High School in Greenville, SC, was associated with Allen Tate Realtors 22 years and won multiple awards in sales, most notable the Barbara Tate Award.

Survivors include her husband of 24 years, Sam D. Redmond, daughters, Leah O. Lindsay and husband, Zane of Ft. Mill, SC, Layne Owensby and Maggie C. Redmond of Charlotte, mother, Lou Ellen Chapman of Greenville, SC, grandchildren, Reece Ella Lindsay and Britton Allison Lindsay, sister, Diane C. Bishop of Piedmont, SC, and a brother, John R. Chapman of Greenville, SC.
