Cynthia "Cindy" Lou Nance, 72, of Indian Trail, North Carolina passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, October 21, 2022. She was born on July 6, 1950 to Joseph and Irene Esock in Manville, New Jersey.
Cindy lived a life to be proud of, always putting family first and cherishing traditions. From her early years when she worked full time as a Sales Professional, through her retired years, she rarely missed a ball-game, recital, school activity or other important event for her husband, children, or grandchildren.
Cindy loved fashion, shopping (mostly for others!) and dressing in fun, bright colors. She had a knack for picking the perfect gifts, and reminding you with a “did I get you that shirt?” She remembered all important dates, and undoubtedly showed up with a cake.
Cindy will be missed immensely. She and Bo were inseparable – best friends – who loved to be together. Her children and grandchildren were her absolute proudest accomplishments, and she loved them very, very well. Our family will never forget – the time she spent, the fun things we did, the love that was the essence of her being. Unconditional Love – that is Cindy.
Cindy is survived by her loving husband, DeWitt "Bo" Nance; her children, Amy Thalmann, Brad Baranowski (Lorna); her step-sons, Michael Nance (Lindsey), Patrick Nance (fiance, Yovonne); her grandchildren, Brayden Wilkinson, Tucker Wilkinson, Chloe Nance, Joseph Thalmann, Ellie-Grace Baranowski, John Thalmann, Carter Nance, Emma Baranowski, Noah Guest; her brother, Kenny Esock (Janine); her sister-in-law, Patsy Quick (Kermit); her niece, Sandra Baranowski (Kelly); her nephew/godson, William Baranowski (fiance, Missy);and many other loving extended family members.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, October 27, 2022 at McEwen Funeral Service - Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews - Mint Hill Road, Charlotte, North Carolina.
