Corrine Beck

Born in Winnepeg Manitoba, Canada on January 26, 1956, she was a daughter of Hendrikus and Wilhelmina Leeflang Kroon.

At the age of 7, Connie moved to North Hollywood, California where she graduated from John H. Francis Polytechnic High School. While working as a cashier at the Hollywood Burbank Airport, Connie met her future husband, Dean Beck. They spent 4 years together before moving to Portland, Oregon. In 1991, Connie, Dean and their two children, Lisa and Bryan, relocated to Charlotte.

Connie had been employed as a cafeteria worker at Crown Point Elementary.

A huge animal lover, Connie loved to travel, rafting, long walks in the park with Dean and Poncho, Friday night dinners with family, skiing, attending concerts and spending time with her pride and joy, Natalia, her only granddaughter.

Survivors include her husband, Dean Beck, whom she married May 31, 1983 in Las Vegas; her two children, Lisa Beck and Bryan Beck and his wife, Anna; a granddaughter, Natalia Beck; two sisters, Jeanette Cramer and her husband, Bob and Monica Kroon; her best-dog friend, Poncho and many other family members and friends.

Memorial services are planned for 2:30 pm Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at Wilson Funeral & Cremation Service where friends may visit one hour prior to the service.
