Christopher Brian Devaney, 36, of Charlotte, died Tuesday, December 11, 2012. Born April 22, 1976 in Warrington, England, he was the son of Brian and Sylvia Devaney
Surviving are his mother, Sylvia, and step-father, Derek Gurney of Hilton Head, SC; brothers, Michael Devaney of Bella Vista, AR, and Neil Devaney of Raleigh, NC; step-brother Jonathan Gurney of Erolzheim, Germany; step-sister Lynn Griffiths of Milton Keynes, U.K.; and his nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his father, Brian; sister, Kathy; and grandparents Stanley and Naomi Bennett.
A private service for the family was held at Forest Lawn West, Charlotte, NC.
