Chris was born in Farmville, Virginia on December 13, 1967.
From childhood Chris was a sports enthusiast following the Minnesota Vikings and the Charlotte Hornets. He was the quarterback for his high school football team and even won a championship ring. Chris was always ready to debate sports and politics with anyone.
In his professional life he established a 30 year successful business, The Chapman Corporation.
As his two sons grew up, Chris coached recreational boys' basketball. Recently, when his son entered college, Chris went from a Duke fan to a fan of the Kentucky Wildcats. He believed that his proudest achievement were his two sons and who they have grown up to become.
