Christine Baucom

She was a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary for many years with her husband Hoye.

She is survived by her son, Mike Baucom and his wife Kathy; brother Johnny Whitley and his wife JoAnna; grandchildren, Laura, Lisa and Katie.

She was preceded in death by her husband Hoye Baucom; brother Clarence Whitley and her sister Mary Lee Smiley.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 7:00p.m.until 8:30p.m. Wednesday, at McEwen Funeral Service, Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews-Mint Hill Road in Mint Hill. A funeral service will be held at 11a.m. Thursday, April 16, 2015 at Arlington Baptist Church, 9801 Arlington Church Rd, Mint Hill, NC 28227. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
