Charlyne Garnett Baker

She loved making people happy with her clowning (her name was Sweet Thing), fabulous balloon art, one of a kind crafts, and cheerleading (yea!). Charlyne also loved riding her three-wheeled bicycle at the beach, playing fun tricks on everyone, including her grandchildren that she loved so.....known to them as MeeMee. She also loved going to the mountains to see the turkeys, attending Senior Games (she was a Gold Medalist in Race Walking - and still holds the State Record), and also arrived at 5:00 am for over 30 years to the Harris YMCA to exercise in Water Aerobics.

Her favorite color was pink and she loved hummingbirds! She was a member of the Square Wheelers and loved to square dance. She was an avid golfer, and could beat everyone on the putting green!

Charlyne's friends recall her as having the sweetest spirit!

She would say never stop having fun......

A Celebration of Charlyne's life will be held from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm Saturday, September 28, 2019 at her home.
