Charlotte Howard Young passed away August 4, 2017 at the Brian Center Health and Retirement in Charlotte after a lengthy illness. Born August 6, 1946 She was a life long resident of Charlotte N.C. and loving wife to Sam Young for 49 years. She was preceded in death by her brother Clyde Mark Howard of Charlotte. She is survived by Her husband, Samuel R Young Jr., Son Samuel R. Howard III of Charlotte, Brother Chuck Howard and wife Carmen of Charlotte, brother Christopher P. Howard of Charlotte and sister Brenda Howard Swartout of Murrells Inlet, SC. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday August 23, 2017 at Sharon Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel. Arrangements by McEwen funeral service. Memorials may be sent to Hospice and Palliative care Charlotte region.
