He was born January 7, 1942 in Roanoke, Virginia to George and Mary Rice. He was a nuclear carpenter and loved to fish.
He is survived by his beloved wife Patsy Rice of whom they raised 3 sons: Timmy, George and Tommy. He is also survived by his brother Milton Rice, eight grandchildren and Uncle Pastor Bobby Yandel.
Charles was an honest and hard working man who raised his sons to be the same. He was known for his hard work and helping hand. He was also a dedicated husband and father who gave all he was everyday to his family and The Lord Jesus Christ.
Services will be held at McEwen Funeral Home, 10500 Park Rd., Charlotte, NC 28210 on Friday, January 29, 2021 with the Visitation beginning at 12 noon, and the Funeral at 1 pm. Burial will follow immediately afterwards at Crown Memorial Park Cemetery, Pineville, NC.
