'Boogs'

Boogs, age 24, died Friday, June 18, 2010. Born April 28, 1986 in Charlotte, he was the son of Sandra Nealy and the late Charles E. Coggins, III. Boogs attended Central Cabarrus High School and Stanly Community College. He enjoyed go-cart racing, riding motorcycles, traveling and playing football.

The service to celebrate the life of Charles 'Boogs' Edward Coggins, IV will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at First United Pentecostal Church (4929 N. Sharon Amity Rd., Charlotte, NC 28205) with Reverend Nathan Elms officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.

Survivors include his daughter, Ashyah Coggins; mother, Sandra Nealy; sister, Danielle Kline, her husband, Jerry and their children, Makaylah and Jayden; his daughter's mother, Keyisha Scott; grandparents, Charles Coggins, Jr., Lynn Overturf and Edith Nealy; uncle, Dondi Coggins and his wife, Kelly; aunts, Rhonda Knotts and Deborah Herald; and many friends.
