Cesar led an extensive 30 year long career in the Venezuelan Navy where he ascended to the rank of Captain. He traveled the world, experiencing many cultures and learning of far off lands. His love for adventure was only matched by his love of helping others as he was a proud member of the Lion’s Club International Club for many years. His work included providing eye and vision care for those who either could not afford it or did not have access to it. He also worked tirelessly in making the American Dream possible to many others seeking freedom and justice through his translation work.
Cesar loved his family and would make a point to tell them that he loved and appreciated them as often as possible. Cesar is survived by Mary, his partner who gave him unconditional faith, love, and support; Older brother Carmelo Perez, Sons, Cesar Perez Jr. and Jose Giacopini, Daughters Evelin Carrasquero, Mary Anne Perez, and Adanaris Marcano and nephew Gilberto Perez-Abraham. He was proud of his children. His family and friends will hold dear the stories they will be privileged to tell as they carry on their legacy.
