Carroll E Waddell

Carroll was born in Pulaski County, KY on December 8, 1934 to Milford Dewey Waddell and Matrie Mae (Wesley) Waddell.

Carroll lived a long and blessed life having the most valuable of all possessions…the love and admiration of his family.

Left to mourn his loss is devoted wife of 68 years; Nellie Belle (Thompson) Waddell of Charlotte, NC.; children Gregory Waddell (Dawn), Allen Waddell (Myrna), Linda Waddell Sharpe (Bobby), Debra Waddell Blanton (Tony) and Kelly Waddell Schlicher (Dennis); grandchildren Adina Arnold (Brad), Leah Hamilton (Jared), Aaron Waddell, Emanuel Gagante, Lovely Gagante, Meghan Sharpe, Tara Richardson (Justin), Cassie Tran (Chris), Kendall Villardo (Cal), Avery Schlicher and Elliott Schlicher and great grandchildren; Cora Arnold, Alice Arnold, Camille Hamilton, Simon Hamilton, Miles Hamilton, Nellie Rios, Winnie Tran, Quon Tran.

Carroll also leaves his surviving siblings Boyd Waddell of Florida, Terry Waddell of Ohio, Wanda (Waddell) Trammell of Ohio and Jimmy Waddell of Ohio.

Carroll was preceded in death by his parents and his loving siblings; Clarence Waddell, Clyde Waddell, Phillip Waddell and Judy (Waddell) Trammell.

A graveside service is scheduled for Saturday, June 15, 2024 at 3:00 pm at Sharon Memorial Park located at 5716 Monroe Road in Charlotte, NC. This will be immediately followed by a Celebration of Life at McEwen Funeral Service at the same address.
