Carolyn Beaty Torrence

Carolyn Beaty Torrence, 81, of Charlotte, NC passed away on Friday, May 31, 2024. Born December 30, 1942, in Charlotte, NC, she was the daughter of the late Richard "Dick" and Mae (Odom) Beaty. She married the late Robert "Bobby" Torrence on March 16, 1963 in York, SC.

A graduate of West Mecklenburg High School, she was a member of Wilkinson Blvd. VFD Ladies Auxiliary.

She enjoyed gardening, traveling with her husband, bird watching, car shows, caring for her animals and spending time with her family, especially her granddaughters.

Survivors include her daughters Lynne and husband Rob and Lisa and husband Buddy; granddaughters Sam and Sydney; brother Don and wife Carrie; and niece Kathy.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Ricky.
