Carolyn Eury Newell

Mrs. Newell, age 76, of Mount Holly, died Thursday, September 10, 2015. Born February 22, 1939 in Charlotte, she was a daughter of the late Walter Eury and Clara Reames Eury. Mrs. Newell was a retired seamstress.

The service to celebrate the life of Carolyn Eury Newell will be held 11:00 AM Monday, September 14th from the graveside at Oak Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery with Reverend Sammy Case officiating. The family will receive friends 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM Sunday at McEwen Funeral Service - Derita Chapel.

Survivors include two daughters, Joan Carrier and husband, Lonnie and Beverly Rape and husband, Jimmy; three siblings, Linda Byrd, Walter Eury and Lola Capps; five grandchildren, Christy Dull, Ronnie Carrier, Jennifer Frye, Kelly Brennessel and Angie Richardson; and nine great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Newell was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald; and son, David.
