Carole W. Watts

A native of Ashe County, NC, Mrs. Watts was born to the late Daisy Miller Wingler and Edison Wingler on March 7, 1943. She retired as a French language teacher with Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools.

Mrs. Watts is survived by her husband, Billy G. Watts of Charlotte; children, Michelle Watts of Charlotte, Jimmy Watts and wife Jori of Harrisburg; grandsons, Mitchell, Adam and Trey Watts all of Harrisburg; sisters, Judy Craven and husband Jerry of Miller’s Creek, NC, Peggy Parsons and husband Tony of Lewisville, NC, Patsy Bumgarner and husband Donnie of Wilkesboro, NC and three nephews.

The funeral service will be held 11:15 a.m., Saturday, May 14 in the chapel at McEwen Derita Chapel, 6300 Mallard Creek Rd., Charlotte with Pastor Donnie Icenhour officiating. Interment will follow in Gethsemane Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 10:00 a.m. until service time on Saturday at the funeral home.
