Carol and Charlie were great friends to my parents when they were living in Iran before the Revolution and I have heard many stories over the years about the good times that they had together  it sound like they had a lot of fun! It was lovely to finally meet Charlie over Christmas and to hear all about Carol and see some photos  Carol sounded like a lovely lady and I am sorry that I never got to meet her in person. She will always be remembered by our family, especially for the wonderful fruit cakes that she kindly sent every Christmas without fail! My sincere condolences. Leila Harper (nee Bayandor)

I lived in Iran during most of the same period of time as Carol & Charles.  Her fun filled friendship made a difficult adjustment possible.  I remember so many days of laughter and fun with Carol. Without a doubt Carol could lift my spirits with her breath of life. Love and remember you always Dear Carol. x

I met carol & charles in pre revolution Iran . Carol was a  super efficient secretary , light of every party with a brilliant sense of humour . Carol 's understanding of cultures were superb and we had many happy trips with the Simons all around Iran .
I shall miss her and her happy cheerful disposition .

Carol willed be dearly missed, but we can't help knowing the joy she has found is God's ultimate garden. She is probably helping God tend it right now! Charles, you are in our hearts and prayers in this time of grief.

Carol and I and a group of six other girls from Lindenhurst, Long Island formed a tightly knitted bond of friendship.  We were friends at the time of our lives when we were growing up during our formative years.  Carol was President of the 1961 Class of Lindenhurst High School and was admired by so many for her kindness and humor.  She will remain forever in my thoughts and heart. Take care of that garden in Heaven!
