Carl A. Jones Jr.

Carl A. Jones Jr., 70, of Charlotte, passed away August 28, 2022. Born February 14, 1952 in Franklin, TN, he was the son of Carl Sr. and Virginia (Walton) Jones. He married Annette M. Cook on October 16, 1971 in Charlotte.

A graduate of Garinger High School, Carl served his country in the U.S. Army Reserve. He was a retired salesman for the food industry.

Carl enjoyed a good book to read, history and traveling.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Annette Jones; daughters, Denise (Tom) Bradshaw and Courtney G. Jones; grandchildren, Cameron and Olivia Bradshaw; sister, Carlene (Junior) Silcox; numerous nieces and nephews.

Carl was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation for Carl will be 11 am until the time of service at 12 pm Thursday, September 1, 2022 at Forest Lawn West Funeral & Cremation Service, 4601 Freedom Drive, Charlotte, NC. Burial in Forest Lawn West Cemetery. Condolences may be submitted at www.forestlawnwest.com.
