Brian was a graduate of South Mecklenburg High School and UNC Wilmington with a degree in communications. He loved all sports and excelled in tennis. Although a Wilmington graduate, he was an avid Tar Heel fan, even naming his dog Tar Heel.
The loves of his life and the center of Brian's universe were his daughters, Sydney and Savannah. He loved the Carolina Panthers and tailgating with all of his friends. Brian never met a stranger, and was a people person. His special friend, Kristen, and her daughter, Caitlin were always loving and so supportive. Brian especially liked pulling the girls on the tube behind the boat and hanging around the dock with his lake family. He also enjoyed every chance he got to play golf. He even went to Scotland and Ireland to play with his dad and brother. Brian's happy-go-lucky personality will always be cherished.
After moving multiple times, Brian chose Charlotte as his forever home and enjoyed all it had to offer. His smile will be a lasting memory for all. The family would like to thank everyone for all their outpouring support.
Brian is survived by his daughters, Sydney and Savannah Blue of Charlotte; parents, Jerry Harold and Gale Martin Blue of Winston-Salem, NC; brother, Harold Scott Blue and his son, Brady of Charleston; and Brian's special friend, Kristen Bullock.
A Gathering and Celebration of Brian’s life will be held on Wednesday evening December 20, from 6 until 8 pm at Harry & Bryant Funeral Home, 500 Providence Rd., Charlotte.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
