Brenda was born on September 10, 1957 in Smyrna, Tennessee to Lois Cody Childress and the late Levi Livingston Childress.
Brenda graduated from North Mecklenburg High School in 1975. She loved going to the beach and camping in the mountains.
Brenda is preceded in death by her father, L.L. Childress and is survived by her mother, son, Wyatt Andresen (Madison), sister, Sharon Stewart (Daniel), brothers, Richard (Paula) and David (Cindy). Also left to cherish her memory are numerous loving nieces and nephews and let’s not forget her four legged pets, Shelby, Todd, Dixie, Puppy and Cottonball.
The family will receive friends from 2:00pm until 3:00pm Sunday, September 23, 2018 prior to the Celebration of Life Service at 3pm at Sunset Road Baptist Church, Charlotte, NC with Pastor Steve Bass officiating.
